It's a Wrap Project

Yvonne Lang from  IT Sligo visited the school on Tuesday 5^th November. Yvonne was facilitating ‘Its a Wrap’ project which helps primary school children identify plastics present in everyday household packaging.The children collected waste plastic packaging and created a log of the plastic collected for one week. Yvonne helped the children identify the plastics by fingerprinting using the infrared spectrometer.
