Do Plants Need Light ?

4th, 5th and 6th classes - we did an experiment to find out if plants need light to survive. We covered some leaves with tinfoil to stop the light from getting to them. The leaves that were covered went autumn colours and felt limp. The leaves that were not covered hadn't changed, they stayed healthy.
