 A very big thank you to all who have contributed and helped in our fundraising drive to pay off the outstanding debt on the new school extension. As you can see we are making great progress. As more events are held and contributions come in we will update this chart and table so we can all see how well we are doing. We must especially thank the Department of Education and Science for making a further €49,000 available. This has substantially reduced the debt and makes the outstanding €10,000 or thereabouts a very achievable short term goal.
As a result of Fr. Vincents recent letter to the community almost €3,000 more has been collected, thanks to all who have contributed.
A special thanks also to the MGWS (Monasteraden Group Water Scheme) who very kindly donated €6,000.
"The Train" DVDs have also been a rip roaring success, well done to all involved.
